New GMC Acadia

Drivers who need more passenger space can step up to the GMC Acadia. This midsize SUV offers three-row flexibility and seating for up to eight, making it particularly appealing for families and drivers who regularly need extra room for passengers or cargo.

The Acadia can also take on different personalities depending on the trim. Elevation offers a strong collection of everyday technology and comfort features, AT4 adds an off-road-tuned suspension and Active Torque Control AWD, while Denali focuses more heavily on premium appointments.

What's New for the 2027 GMC Acadia?

The 2027 GMC Acadia adds Denali Ultimate at the top of the lineup. GMC lists features including Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology, Woodland Mahogany full-leather massaging front seats, a Bose 16-speaker Performance Series audio system, and a panoramic sunroof on Denali Ultimate.

That's a particularly useful update to feature because it strengthens the Acadia's position for shoppers looking for a premium three-row SUV.

Denali and AT4: Two Different Sides of GMC

Choosing a GMC isn't solely about deciding between Canyon, Sierra, Terrain, Acadia, or Yukon. Your preferred trim can make a major difference in the personality of the vehicle.

Denali is a strong place to start for shoppers drawn to GMC's more premium side, with elevated interior appointments, technology, and distinctive styling.

AT4 takes GMC in a different direction, emphasizing a more rugged and adventure-oriented personality. AT4 variants are available across multiple GMC models, giving shoppers the opportunity to combine GMC comfort and technology with a more capability-focused design.

Which GMC Is Right for You?

The right GMC depends on what you need your vehicle to do.

Choose the GMC Canyon if you want the usefulness of a pickup in a midsize package.

Consider the GMC Sierra 1500 if you want full-size truck capability with a wide variety of trims and configurations.

Move up to the Sierra HD when heavy-duty truck capability becomes a priority.

Explore the GMC Terrain if you want a compact, five-passenger SUV with modern technology and everyday versatility.

Consider the GMC Acadia when you need a larger three-row SUV with seating for up to eight.

Step up to the GMC Yukon or Yukon XL when full-size SUV passenger and cargo space are important.

Explore the Sierra EV or HUMMER EV if you're interested in GMC capability paired with an all-electric powertrain.

GMC Sierra 1500 AT4

The GMC Sierra 1500 combines the capability expected from a full-size pickup with an interior and technology lineup designed for drivers who use their trucks for much more than work. It's a strong option whether you're looking for an everyday truck, something equipped for towing and hauling, an off-road-focused configuration, or a more premium pickup.

The Sierra lineup also gives shoppers distinctly different personalities to consider. AT4 and AT4X models lean toward adventure and off-road capability, while Denali and Denali Ultimate bring a more premium approach to the full-size pickup.

What's New for the Upcoming GMC Sierra 1500

This is one model where I would definitely emphasize the upcoming generation. GMC has announced a next-generation 2027 Sierra 1500, expected to become available in late 2026. The redesign includes two new available V8 engines, reimagined interiors, enhanced technology, and more than 60 inches of combined available digital displays. GMC has also announced Sierra-first features such as an available MultiPro Center Console, Bose premium front head-restraint speakers, and a panoramic sunroof.

That gives shoppers another reason to follow the Sierra lineup as the next generation arrives.

Prepare for Adventure the Right Way with the GMC Canyon

The GMC Canyon brings pickup capability into a midsize package, making it an interesting alternative for drivers who want a truck but don't necessarily need the footprint of the Sierra.

Its size can make it easier to live with as an everyday vehicle while still providing the bed utility and versatility truck buyers want. The Canyon lineup also gives shoppers several directions to explore, from everyday configurations to more rugged, adventure-oriented models.

For someone deciding between the Canyon and Sierra 1500, the biggest question is often how much truck they realistically need for their everyday driving, projects, towing, and weekend plans.

GMC HUMMER EV Pickup & SUV

The GMC HUMMER EV takes the brand in a very different direction, combining an all-electric platform with dramatic design and specialized capability.

Available in both Pickup and SUV forms, the HUMMER EV gives shoppers the ability to choose between pickup-bed utility and an SUV body style. GMC highlights technologies including available four-wheel steering with CrabWalk on the HUMMER EV SUV, along with an Infinity Roof and available UltraVision camera views.

It's a distinctive option for drivers interested in EV technology but who still want the bold character associated with GMC.

What's Coming for the 2027 GMC HUMMER EV?

GMC has announced the limited-run 2027 HUMMER EV ICON | 25, celebrating 25 years of HUMMER. It will be offered in Pickup and SUV form and is expected to become available in early 2027. GMC says special features include ICON Yellow exterior paint, unique wheels, an ICON | 25 serialized interior badge, and unique drive-mode graphics.

GMC has also announced a native NACS charging inlet and the first black interior colorway in HUMMER EV history as newly available features across the 2027 HUMMER EV lineup

GMC Sierra EV

Drivers interested in electric performance without giving up the usefulness of a pickup can also explore the GMC Sierra EV.

The Sierra EV expands GMC's truck family into the all-electric market. GMC currently highlights available features including four-wheel steering with CrabWalk and a MultiPro Midgate, while maximum trailering capability can reach 12,500 pounds when properly equipped.

For shoppers who like the GMC truck philosophy but are interested in making the move to an EV, the Sierra EV creates another option alongside the traditional Sierra lineup.

Like the HUMMER EV, the Sierra Denali EV is built on the Ultium Platform, using only premium materials without sacrificing the capability you've come to expect from the lineup. The new all-electric pickup will combine electric propulsion with luxurious design and comfort, ensuring you tow and haul from the convenience of a cozy interior.
